Ingredients for 2 moulds MB Silicase 1/3:
2 little carrots
5 tablespoons of thick fresh cream
2 tablespoons of ground curry
1 tablespoon of coconut flakes
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Peel the carrots, cut them into slices and cook them (we used microwave steam cooking – a very quick solution ;-) but you can also cook them in a pan, in water or steamed).
Pour the cream, salt and pepper in a suitable container that goes to the microwave and heat up at 500W for 40 seconds. Mix well.
Add in the curry, the eggs and coconut and stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth.
Add in the carrots and pour the mixture into 2 moulds MB Silicase 1/3.
Small tip: do not fill the moulds to the edge, the flan will raise while cooking.
Put in the oven for 20 minutes.
Best tip: prick with a knife to test if cooked (the blade must come out clean but wet).
That’s it, you just have to unmould (or not!) and place your flans in your MB Original bento box for a dream trip to a colourful country at lunch break!
