Ingredients
2 eggs
6 teaspoon of milk
¼ of a courgette
2 pinches of salt
4 pinches of grated cheese
2 slices of ham
Instructions
Are you looking for a balanced meal to recharge batteries and be in the best shape? Here is exactly what your little eater on the go needs: ham and omelette maki rolls, to enjoy with fingers or even chopsticks!
Step 1: the omelette
Whisk the eggs and combine the milk, the salt and the grated cheese.
Cut up the courgette into small dices and plunge the lot a few minutes in a saucepan of boiling water. Strain and incorporate to the eggs.
Cook the omelette in a pan or in the microwave with an adapted container. It must be thin and mellow.
Step 2: maki rolls
Cut the omelette in half. Roll up each half while it is still warm (so not to tear it) and wrap it in a slice of ham.
Wrap up the rolls with cling film slightly tight and leave in the refrigerator for about one hour to maintain the shape.
At last, remove the cling film and cut up the rolls into slices of about 2 centimetres thick. Then, just place the maki rolls in your child’s lunchbox.
Now you have a Japanese meal revisited in a French style!
