Less waste
Solid cosmetics means less packaging (and even no packaging at all if you buy them in bulk)! Therefore, less waste harmful to the planet. In addition, they have a much longer lifespan than conventional products! So if we do a little calculation: a solid soap bar vs. several plastic bottles, the planet, and your wallet too, will say thank you! 😉
A cleaner and more natural composition (in general)
A classic liquid cosmetic product is mainly composed of water; not much active ingredient left. On the contrary, solid cosmetics do not contain water, and thus do not require preservatives and other superfluous ingredients in their formula ;-). We still encourage you to check the composition of the products.
How does it work?
Deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, shaving soap…and even facial care! Just put them in contact with water. Rub your solid shampoo on your wet hair; for toothpaste, rub the pebble on the wet toothbrush… It’s super-simple!
To take everywhere
Like our bentos boxes, these cosmetics are nomadic. They can easily be carried and split to the desired portion.
And who’s never had its favourite beauty product confiscated at the airport? With these new cosmetics, there is no risk and no longer needed to limit yourself to 100 ml.
Do it yourself
Super easy to make, you can try and master one hundred percent of the composition of your product.
We found a super simple recipe for a solid deodorant:
1. Mix 5 tablespoons of coconut oil with 5 drops of palmarosa essential oil. To obtain a homogeneous substance, melt your coconut oil in a double boiled to add in the essential oil.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of cornstarch. And mix it all together, so there are no lumps.
3. Finally pour your preparation in a small container and let cool in the fridge.
Practical, economical, ecological, so why not try it? 😉
