Three days, and 400 entrepreneurs aged 18 to 45, representing 20 countries: what a challenge faces Émilie, our CEO, this year! Chosen to represent France with 25 of her peers, she will fly to Sydney in July to attend the G20 YEA (Young Entrepreneur Alliance Summit), organised on the margins of the G20. The issue to be discussed this year: create a strategy to reduce unemployment below 10% by 2030!
Meeting entrepreneurs from around the world, sharing experiences, discussing fundamental issues; what a lot of opportunities the entrepreneurs selected for the French delegation have been offered by the French association “Citizen Entrepreneurs” and a jury of representatives from the national ecosystem.
Émilie can’t hide her enthusiasm at setting out on this adventure. “I heard the news a few months ago and since then, I can’t wait to go. Going to Australia, a country I love, to reflect together on a global action plan to fight unemployment, as a business leader, this is a one-of-a-kind experience, and simply fascinating! Especially since the fruit of our labours will be presented to the Australian Prime Minster and to the Heads of State of the G20 countries, no less!”
As a foretaste, the French delegation met for the first time at Bercy last Tuesday, with Ramon Fernandez, the current director of the Treasury.
