This recipe comes from a diet cookbook. We could learn a few things from them! Their recipes are fresh, light and a good alternative to pure salads during summer. They are perfect when it is warm outside and we don’t want to feel heavy after lunch.
I chose those wraps with ham, zucchini, basil and ricotta. It is perfect for a sunny picnic.
You need:
– 1 zucchini
– Some basil
– Some ricotta cheese
– Wraps
– Cooked ham
– Salt and pepper
For each wrap:
Slightly dampen the wrap with a moist paper towel and put it a few seconds in the microwave. Cut one slice of ham in small pieces and arrange them on the wrap. Then spread the ricotta over the ham on the wrap. Thinly slice 1/3 of the zucchini and add the slices to the wrap. Mince some basil leaves (according to your taste) and add salt and pepper. Roll the wrap up and cut it in bit-sized pieces like on the image.
