Right before Saint Patrick’s Day, let’s have a green bento!
Green… juste like basilicum! Tasty basilicum plants are back in garden centres and supermarkets. Let’s jump at the chance!
Today’s menu: basilicum pasta with pistou and chorizo sauce + spinach and radish salad.
Ingredients:
– 7 basilicum leaves
– 20g of pine nut
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 clove of garlic
– some chorizo slices
– pepper, salt
Start by thinly slice the basilicum leaves and pine nuts. Press the garlic. Mash everything together with oliv oil in a mortar. You can also mix it in a food mixer if you want it more smooth.
When it looks like how you want it to be, add pepper and salt.
Cook the pasta you want.
Fry the chorizo after thinly slicing it. Mix it with the pasta.
Serve the pasta with the pistou sauce on top.
