Mélanie Montagné a.k.a. mademoiselle.m is the author of Mes beaux bentos (My beautiful bentos). She shares with us a recipe of that book : chicken with white sesame seeds breadcrumb dressing and black sesame rice.
After arranging it is her bento box she called it “catch me !”

Ingredients for 1 person :
1egg
1 tsp of Maggi Aroma
2 tsp of white sesame seeds
1 piece of chicken breast
pepper and salt
For the rice :
1 portion of cooked thai rice
1 tsp of black sesame paste
Recipe :
1 | Whisk the egg in a bowl. Add the Aroma with and some salt and pepper.
2 | Put the mix in a soup plate. Line the bottom of another one with the sesame seeds.
3 | Put the chicken in the egg mix and then in the sesame seeds.
4 | Put a nut of butter in a pan. Let it Warm up.
5 | When the pan is warm brown the chicken.
6 | Put it out of the pan and let it cool down for two minutes. Meanwhile, mix the rice with the black sesame paste until the color is uniform.
7 | Cut the chicken in thin slices, put it in the bento with rice.
Mademoiselle.m advices and tricks :
Black sesame paste is some kind of thick black purée. It’s sold in asiatic food groceries.
You only need 1/2 tsp of it to color a portion of rice and give a delicious sweet taste !
In Asia, people also eat it on a toast with some honey of sugar.
You also may find it diluted in soya milk.
