It will become your best friend this winter. Chocolate is so good for us: its boosts our mood, and the magnesium it contains helps us maintain our energy levels!

Water, tea, herbal tea, soup: drink plenty of different beverages! We often forget that the air is generally quite dry in winter, so it’s important to stay hydrated by drinking small quantities frequently through the day. At home and at the office, take your bottle with you and drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water each day.

6 – Get moving!

Sport activities are an excellent way to stay in shape, especially in winter. In addition to their physical benefits, they also help to wash out toxins, and that’s good for the brain!

7 – Have fun!

Take time for yourself, relax, and forget your cares. Often, little things like a good movie, a hot bath or a meal with your favourite dishes are all it takes to get us feeling better again!

8 – Add water to your air

Remember to humidify your interior: if the air is dry outside, heating makes it even drier inside. There are lots of ways to humidify the air: use a humidifier, dry your laundry indoors, or simply place containers of water near heat sources (preferably in terracotta containers)!

9 – Inhale

To clear your airways, which are often the first to be affected during winter months, try inhalations treatments with eucalyptus, thyme or benzoin extract.

10 – Let the light shine!

It is essential, and it has long been known to have positive effects on our mood and health: it stimulates the immune system, encourages restful sleep and helps fight infections and seasonal affective disorders. So, dress warmly, and get outdoors for a few minutes whenever the sun shines to benefit from its natural light. Or, if it’s too cold for you, you can always try light therapy products.
