You are the proud owner of an MB Original bento box Made in France and you want to pamper it? Here are some tips to optimise its use.
OPEN IT
Before opening your bento box, remember to lift the small silicone tab. When you hold the container tight, it can be harder to open it. Lay it flat and open it in the corner.
PAMPER IT
To enjoy your bento box, you should wash it first. You have two options: by hand or in the dishwasher (we advise you to place it in the upper basket and use a gentle cycle, below 50°C, on the upper rack of your dishwasher).
If you love spices and sauces of all kinds, you know it can stain your lunch box. That’s why you should rinse it quickly after use.
And finally to protect it from impacts, scratches and stains… opt for the MB Pochette transport bag.
CARRY IT
To ensure perfect airtightness (and avoid accidents at the bottom of your bag ;-)), follow these tips:
#1 Position the intermediate lids correctly on each container and press down the silicone tab.
#2 Stack your two containers and add the top lid.
#3 And finally, don’t forget to position the elastic strap to hold all of the pieces together.
Psst, little trick: you can also use your bento box with only one tier. All you have to do is position the elastic in the length or buy a suitable MB Strip 1 level 😉
