Chocolate chip shortbread cookies

Instructions

Recipe created as part of a collaboration with Scrapcooking. Instructions:

1. Prepare the dough:
   • In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar until creamy.
   • Add the egg and mix well to combine.
   • Gradually add the flour and the pinch of salt, and mix until a smooth dough forms.
   • Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
2. Chill the dough:
   • Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
3. Cut and bake:
   • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
   • On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 3 to 5 mm thickness.
   • Use Scrapcooking dinosaur cookie cutters to cut the dough.
   • Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake:
   • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
   • Let them cool before placing the shortbread cookies in the Gram snack box.
