Jamie Oliver’s first Food Revolution Day took place on last Saturday.

If you don’t already know about Jamie Oliver, we heard a lot about him for the publication of his book 30-minute meals. He fights for idea that we don’t need lots of time to cook great meals. He also encourages everybody to cook.

“Stand up for real food” is the catch phrase of the Food Revolution Day. He chose May 19th as the international day for better food and cooking habits.

What is the concept?  Meet up in order to share knowledge, passion for cooking and friendship. These events can take various shapes: cooking workshops, picnics, workshops for kids, or kitchen garden visits. Everyone can take part in their own way.

This year participants from more than 45 countries took part in different events.

Let’s get cooking!
